| The touch panel doesn't respond to any button pushes.

| Make sure power is on. Check to see if the power light is lit on the system
rack. If not check the assigned circuit breaker and reset it if necessary. |

| The touch panel video window is blank. |
- Make sure the video cable is plugged into the touch panel's video port.
- Attempt to route various media sources to the video display, noting the
results. Call for assistance.

| When I select a video source I cannot see anything
|
- Make sure the signal processor is on.
- Refer to the system configuration to insure the processor is on the correct
input.
- Make sure the video projector is on.
- Make sure the source selected is on.
- If there still is no signal, try other media sources to determine if their
signal is present, and call for assistance.

| When I select the VCR as my source and I am trying to
watch CATV, I see no picture. |
- Follow steps 1 through 4 from above.
- Play a tape in the VCR to see if a signal is present.
- If there is a signal from the tape, contact your cable company to see if
there is a known problem with the cable.
- If there is no signal from the tape, call us for assistance.

| My Auto Record feature does not seem to work.
|
- Make sure there is a VCR tape in the record VCR and that there is enough
tape to record onto.
- Make sure the time and date are set correctly for the control system. This
can be done by accessing the setup section of the touch panel and entering
panel setup. To access the setup section, press the Tandem logo at the bottom
of the side menu bar. This will pop up a keypad for security access. Enter your
security code. If successful, the setup section will be display allowing you to
enter panel setup. In the panel setup section, Time and Date configuration
options will be available.
- Select one of the fifteen events for auto recording. Make sure it is
enabled, that the source you would like to record is selected and that the
channel is correct. Make sure the Start time and Stop time are correct and that
the day to record is also correct.
- Once all is selected and correct, monitor the activity for a successful
recording.
- If the above steps do no solve your problem, attempt to manually record a
variety of media sources. Note whether all or any of the sources can be
recorded, and call for assistance.

| I have the lighting control option and when I try to
control house lighting, nothing happens. |
- Try to control the lights from the desired location's wall panel.
- If the wall panel is responsive, press the system reset switch on the from
of the T-Rex HT equipment rack.
- If the wall panel is also not responsive, you may need to reset the
lighting system master controller. Please call for any assistance.
