The following troubleshooting guide is provided to help solve some simple problems you have. In the event the solution does not help, call us for further assistance.
 
On the room wallplates, there are multiple sources lit at the same time.
Engage the system reset switch on the front of the system rack. This will reboot the system and attempt to correct the problem. If the problem still persists, call for assistance.
None of the buttons are lit on the wall panel.
Make sure power is on. Check to see if the power light is lit on the system rack. If not check the assigned circuit breaker and reset it if necessary.
The touch panel display is blank.

When I select a source I cannot hear anything.
  1. Make sure the room is not currently muted. The Mute button will flash when muted.
  2. Make sure the source is turned on.
  3. Make sure the source is playing or has a valid channel selected.
My wireless transmitter doesn't do anything.
  1. Make sure your line of sight to the receiver is clear. If need be, stand in front of the receiver and attempt a command. The receiver should light in response.
  2. 2. If outdoors, move the transmitter around and try to get a response. You may be in a dead spot and moving around should solve the problem.
The touch panel doesn't respond to any button pushes.

When I select a video source I cannot see anything
  1. Make sure the signal processor is on.
  2. Refer to the system configuration to insure the processor is on the correct input.
  3. Make sure the TV is on.
  4. Make sure the source selected is on.
  5. If there still is no signal, try other media sources to determine if their signal is present, and call for assistance.
When I select the VCR as my source and I am trying to watch CATV, I see no picture.
  1. Follow steps 1 through 4 from above.
  2. Play a tape in the VCR to see if a signal is present.
  3. If there is a signal from the tape, contact your cable company to see if there is a known problem with the cable.
  4. If there is no signal from the tape, call us for assistance.
I have the lighting control option and when I try to control house lighting, nothing happens.
  1. Try to control the lights from the desired location's wall panel.
  2. If the wall panel is responsive, press the system reset switch on the from of the T-Rex ML equipment rack.
  3. If the wall panel is also not responsive, you may need to reset the lighting system master controller. Please call for any assistance.
